Privacy Policy

The short version

JaldiDocs processes all your files entirely inside your browser. Your photos, PDFs, and documents are never uploaded to any server. We do not see, store, or have access to your files. Invoice and rent receipt drafts are saved only in your own browser's localStorage if you choose to save them, and never sent to us.

1. File Processing

All file operations on JaldiDocs — including image resizing, image compression, PDF merging, PDF compression, passport photo generation, invoice creation, and rent receipt generation — are performed entirely within your web browser using browser APIs (Canvas API, pdf-lib, jsPDF).

Your files are not uploaded to any server. We do not have infrastructure to receive or store user files. When you close the browser tab, any files loaded into the tool are removed from your browser's memory.

2. Locally Saved Data

Some tools (Invoice Maker, Rent Receipt Generator) offer a "Save Draft" feature. When you use this feature, the data (your business name, invoice items, rent details, etc.) is saved to your browser's localStorage. This data:

  • Is stored only on your device, in your browser
  • Is never sent to JaldiDocs servers or any third party
  • Can be cleared at any time using the "Clear" button in the tool, or by clearing your browser's localStorage/site data
  • Is lost if you clear your browser data or use a different browser or device

3. Personal Data We Do Not Collect

In this current free MVP version of JaldiDocs, we do not collect:

  • Name, email address, or any contact details (no signup required)
  • User files or documents
  • Aadhaar numbers, PAN numbers, or any government ID information
  • Financial information
  • Location data
  • Cookies (beyond what is technically set by the browser for the session)

4. Analytics and Advertising

The current MVP version of JaldiDocs does not include any third-party analytics or advertising scripts. In the future, we may add:

  • Privacy-respecting analytics (e.g. page views, tool usage counts — no personal data)
  • Google AdSense or similar advertising, which may use cookies for ad personalisation

If and when such services are added, this Privacy Policy will be updated to reflect the change, and where required by law, consent will be sought.

5. Third-Party Services

JaldiDocs is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may collect standard server access logs (IP addresses, request paths, timestamps) as part of their infrastructure. Please refer to Cloudflare's privacy policy at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy for details on their data practices.

Google Fonts are loaded from Google's CDN. Google may log basic request information. See Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy for details.

6. Children's Privacy

JaldiDocs tools are general-purpose document utilities. We do not knowingly collect any information from users under the age of 13. The tools do not require any personal data input to function.

7. Data Security

Since all file processing happens in your browser and we do not receive your files, the primary data security responsibility is your device's own browser security. Keep your browser updated and use trusted devices when working with sensitive documents.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the product evolves. If material changes are made, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
